Mold Damage – Chicago Home
Mold damage at this Chicago home began with a small water leak. The owner reported that every time it rained the wall would get just a little wet. Eventually, it spawned mold growth. The small patch of mold growth needed to be removed. First, the source of the leak needed to be located and repaired. Then we set up a containment area to prevent mold spores from traveling throughout the house while we removed the mold. We cut out the damaged drywall, bagged it, and disposed of it. Drying equipment was then set up to dry the affected surfaces. HEPA air scrubbers and a hydroxyl generator were also employed.
