Commercial Water Damage – Chicago Meeting Room

Commercial water damage in this Chicago meeting room was caused by a burst water line during the night. The before photo shows just how much water was deposited on the floor before the leak was discovered the next morning. A room of this size would require SERVPRO of Marquette Park / West Lawn / Ford City to show up at the job site with truck mounted water extraction equipment. The contents of the room would need to be moved and dried. Once the water had been cleaned up commercial air movers and dehumidifiers would be set up to aid in the drying process. Our trained technicians would monitor the moisture content of the air to determine when the room was sufficiently dry and then they would move the contents to their original location.
