Mold Damage – Chicago Attic

Mold damage developed in this Chicago home’s attic due to a small leak in the roof. While the leak was small, it led to enough moisture accumulation to develop mold in the dark attic. But, since the infestation was in the attic quite some time passed before the homeowner discovered the problem. So we had a major project to clean up the mold infestation. The homeowners had expanded insurance coverage and hoped their insurance company would cover the work to be done. We helped them define what type of mold they were encountered with and helped with communicating with the insurance adjuster. All worked out well, and the job of mold removal was completed to the families satisfaction.
